Front Counter Associate – Island Riddim Jerk & BBQ Grill (Round Rock, TX)
Island Riddim Jerk & BBQ Grill is a vibrant Caribbean/Jamaican restaurant in RoundRock, TX. We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Front Counter Associate to join our team and help deliver a great guest experience.
Position Overview The Front Counter Associates are the face of Island Riddim. You’ll greet guests, take orders, process payments, and ensure our front-of-house areas are clean and welcoming. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys people, works well under pressure, and can multitask in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities Qualifications
- Greet customers warmly and take orders in person, online, or over the phone.
- Operate the POS system and process payments (cash, card, or digital).
- Answer menu questions and make recommendations about our Caribbean/Jamaican and BBQ dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized front counter, dining area, and guest spaces (including restocking supplies).
- Bag and hand off takeout orders promptly and accurately.
- Support the team with light prep or other tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred.
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with attention to detail.
