Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding customer experiences with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Oversee daily café operations, including food preparation, food safety compliance, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
- Provide training and mentorship to new team members on coffee techniques, POS usage, customer service, and food safety protocols
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail food environment
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, serving practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
