What You’ll Do
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Coordinate referrals to community and government agencies for additional services.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to address mental health needs, including PTSD, TBI, and combat stress disorders.
- Offer consultation to healthcare providers on psychosocial issues affecting patient care and compliance.
- Participate in peer review, research, and professional development activities.
- Support patients dealing with domestic violence, abuse, and other social issues.
What You Need
- Required:
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited school (CSWE)
- Active, unrestricted LCSW license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the last 3 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Preferred:
- Experience working with military populations or trauma-related disorders
- Knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities
