Non-medical Home Health company is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a home health setting while working closely with an experienced clinical and administrative leadership team. Position Overview
The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Agency Administrator, Clinical Nurse Manager, or Director of Nursing to deliver exceptional nursing care, ensure patient safety, and support caregivers in meeting individualized care plans.
Education & Licensure
- Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license with the Kansas State Board of Nursing
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- 5 years preferred, especially in home health or related clinical settings

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Capable of following both written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to work independently
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct routine supervisory patient visits every 60 days, completing same-day documentation
- Assess patient conditions, identify changes, and coordinate referrals to external healthcare providers with proper follow-up
- Perform non-routine visits to address patient health, safety, or care concerns
- Supervise Home Health Aides and Patient Care Workers to ensure care plans are followed
- Educate patients and families on home health care techniques and best practices
- Train caregivers in specialized skills such as catheter care, Hoyer lift usage, medication administration, and diabetic care
- Maintain clear communication with physicians, therapists, caregivers, families, and agency staff
- Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and serve as a role model in patient care
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
- Adhere to all Home Health policies and procedures (non medical)
- Comply with Kansas state regulations and home health standards
- Uphold and promote patients’ rights and responsibilities
