We're a local, vibrant, and bustling restaurant dedicated to serving authentic, delicious wood-fired pizzas to our community. We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to become a key member of our kitchen team.
What You'll Do:
- Craft exceptional pizzas using our wood-fired oven, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Prepare and maintain fresh ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings.
- Master the art of dough stretching, shaping, and baking in a high-volume environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed for optimal baking.
- Provide excellent pizza related knowledge to other staff.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Maker, preferably with wood-fired oven experience.
- A passion for pizza and a dedication to quality.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, stretching, and baking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
