SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily supervision and management of infant age children.
- Supervises the daily program for the class in accordance with the classroom expectations of Ruby Cashion Preschool.
- Integrates principles of age-appropriate growth and development and developmentally appropriate practice in daily lesson plans.
- Must have completed the 10-hr Virginia Preservice Training or willing to have it completed prior to beginning orientation if hired.
THE CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well with them, their families, and other teachers.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and work ethic – must be a team player!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a licensed and/or accredited child care facility required.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, or another child-related field OR CDA.
- CPR certification is a plus!
These positions are for a Co-teacher for Infant room as well as a Co-Teacher for the 1 year old room. Hours will be Monday through Friday 8-5
