The Festive Kitchen is a multi-revenue stream food company. This position would manage the operations of 2 of the manufacturing departments (cookie dough and a specialty snack).
Duties
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Schedule weekly employee labor hours in a timely manner and in compliance with the needs of the business.
- Receive and facilitate the production of product for all PO's from our food shops and outside vendors.
- Ensure that your team is producing items in compliance with exact company recipes.
- Maintain production timing for each employee during all phases of product manufacturing.
- Oversee systems and processes for maintenance of equipment and daily cleaning of equipment.
- Ability to manage a team and hold others accountable.
- Ability to note production detailed planning from upper management and follow through as discussed in a timely manner independently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in culinary management.
- Excellent math skills.
- Understanding of batch recipes.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Experience in inventory management, cost control, ordering processes.
- Familiarity with staff scheduling management.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to multi-task with speed and no drama.
Pay: $51,500.00 per year
