We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this dynamic role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food reaches tables promptly, accurately, and with a smile.
Our modern Asian Fusion restaurant located in the Charlotte, NC area. It features a sushi and an Oyster bar, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Hyper Fresh Seafood, and an extensive menu of Modern Asian Cuisine. The restaurant has Spectrum Dining, a fully immersive 5D projection room, 3,000 square feet of outdoor dining and lounge, as well as extensive wine and Sake offerings with classic and featured craft cocktails.

Responsibilities
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
- Ensure all dishes are presented accurately according to order specifications and restaurant standards
- Assist with clearing empty dishes, glasses, and utensils to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and helping with light food preparation or setup as needed
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including cleaning trays and organizing supplies
- Use POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest requests when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with POS systems like Toast POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable team player with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude

Pay Range: $8.00 - $8.10
