Unlike flat-rate shops where your paycheck swings with the workload, this is a steady hourly wage you can count on, with a four-day/ten-hour schedule and a full benefits package. You’ll join a tight-knit shop where the team relies on each other and takes pride in doing the job right.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, transmissions, drivelines, axles, and transfers
- Service electrical, brake, air, and hydraulic systems
- Handle mid-level repairs (no overhauls) and minor fabrication with torches and welders
- Respond to occasional road calls and keep accurate service records
- Pitch in with the team on shop upkeep and seasonal needs
What we’re looking for
- At least 5 years of mechanical experience on cars, trucks, and heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a shop environment
- A dependable, team-first attitude—someone the crew can count on
- Availability to work any day, Sunday through Saturday
Nice to have
- WV Motor Vehicle Inspection License
- Diesel school, GMC, Ford, or Allison Transmission certifications
- Heavy equipment shop experience
