**Food Handler Card is required
Overview: We are opening a brand new Oba Boba location at the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets. This trailer will be stationary and not a traditional storefront. Because this is being operated out of a trailer, experience working in a food truck or mobile environment will help. Previous work in a boba shop is preferred, but we will train individuals that are eager to learn and enjoy the work environment.
Pay:
- Pay starts at $13-13.50 +tips
Hours:
-We have a variety of shifts available and will do our best to work around your schedule as well. The trailer is open M-Sat 10-8, and Sun 11-7. There is prep time and closing time hours available as well. We do not plan to have anyone work over 40hrs a week.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, namely bubble teas, and fruit tea refreshers
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boba trailer
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Operate boba-making equipment
- Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed
Skills:
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures in the food service industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Attention to detail in preparing beverages according to customer preferences and recipes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Note: Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and enthusiasm for the role.
Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
