Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Barista to join our vibrant café team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as TOAST to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions while maintaining accuracy
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive café experience for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and food preparation procedures
- Assist with food service tasks including serving food items, refilling supplies, and ensuring presentation quality
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of quality
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization
- Experience with Toast POS system is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform retail math confidently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling, and food preparation practices
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
