Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Security Officer to provide temporary high-quality services for a condominium complex in the Fort Myers Beach area. Employee may be requested to cover additional hours for Fire Watch or other post vacancies. This is an opening for immediate hire.
The shifts are as follows:
- 08/18 ‐ 08/23 3:30p - 9:30p
Duties(including but not limited to)
- Conduct hourly foot patrols of the premises.
- Monitor the pool and amenities.
- Document parking violations.
- Enforce property regulations and policies.
- Provide assistance to residents as needed.
- Complete daily logs and incident reports.
- Collaborate with local Emergency Services as needed.
- Provide a professional and approachable presence, assisting residents and guests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Clean criminal background and ability to pass a drug test.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Strong report writing skills and comfortable using a smart phone.
- Valid D license, with at least one year of security experience.
- First aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required by the situation.
This is a very active foot patrol post, with little down time, and requires great attention to detail and documentation skills!
