Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a friendly and proactive Produce Team Member to join our retail team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for handling fresh produce, ensuring our shelves are stocked, organized, and inviting for customers. You’ll play a key part in maintaining product quality, supporting inventory control, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Stock and replenish produce displays, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners safely to load, unload, and organize products.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness of the produce area, including proper packaging and sanitation practices.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, answering questions about produce options and store layout.
- Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or retail store experience is preferred, especially in grocery or produce departments.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and materials handling equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are beneficial for communicating with diverse customer bases.
- Strong organizational skills to keep stock organized and maintain a clean workspace.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, pricing, and sales transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and repetitive movements.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
