Job Overview
Core Built Solutions is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to support our expanding portfolio of commercial and residential projects. This role is responsible for reviewing construction plans, performing accurate quantity takeoffs, and preparing detailed cost estimates for concrete, masonry, sitework, and paver projects. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, experienced in reading blueprints, and capable of managing multiple bids while working closely with our team to deliver competitive and accurate proposals.
Duties
- Performing takeoffs from plans
- Preparing estimates and proposals
- Reviewing project specs and scope
- Getting pricing from suppliers/subs
- Working with our team during the bidding process
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of estimating experience
- Ability to read and understand construction plans/blueprints
- Strong knowledge of concrete, masonry, and site work
- Experience with quantity takeoffs and building estimates
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
