- Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape design
- Operate excavators and other construction equipment for system installation or repairs in hard-to-reach areas
- Conduct regular system audits to identify leaks or malfunctions and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system updates for ongoing maintenance tracking
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation components
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
- Knowledge of horticulture principles related to healthy plant growth and water management
- Ability to read technical diagrams and irrigation system layouts accurately
