Duties
- Transcribe for the doctor during each patient in-office visit.
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammatical accuracy, proper terminology, and consistency with medical documentation standards.
- Ensure all transcribed documents adhere to confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Verify medical terminology, anatomy references, and physiology details to maintain high accuracy levels.
- Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical transcription or a related role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures.
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed; familiarity with transcription software preferred.
- Experience working in a medical office environment is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple files efficiently.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols is essential.
