This opportunity runs from August 25th to December 18th, offering flexibility and autonomy as you manage your own weekly schedule—ensuring all assigned students receive the therapy they need. A supportive onboarding period will help set your schedule, and you’ll collaborate closely with school leadership to meet the unique needs of your caseload. Your impact will reach approximately 32 direct students, covering about 800 minutes per week across the assigned locations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Missouri
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage a multi-site caseload and schedule effectively
- Confident communicator and team collaborator
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district standards
- Assess, document, and adjust individualized plans as needed
- Track progress and maintain accurate therapy notes for all assigned students
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ success
- Attend necessary meetings and participate in school-based initiatives as required
This contract offers full-time hours—about 7.5 hours per school day—with a start-to-finish schedule that provides balance and predictability during the fall semester.
