Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they walk in
- Manage waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow
- Operate POS systems to process payments accurately and swiftly
- Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to uphold a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience with food service operations and guest relations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems is preffered but not required
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting with guests
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
