About Bellrae Marketing
Bellrae Marketing is a strategy-led marketing agency helping growing businesses create clear direction, stronger marketing systems, and meaningful results.
We work across social media, email marketing, SEO, paid media, content, and websites, serving clients across industries including home and design, aesthetics, destinations, and professional services.
Our clients don't hire us to simply complete marketing tasks. They trust us to understand their businesses, think proactively, connect marketing activity to business goals, and help move their companies forward.
Our team values strong communication, ownership, high-quality work, follow-through, and results.
About the Role
Bellrae Marketing is looking for an experienced, well-rounded marketer to own the day-to-day marketing leadership of a portfolio of client accounts. You’ll deeply understand each client’s business, translate strategy into priorities for the implementation team, review work through a strategic lens, monitor performance, and proactively identify what should happen next.
This is not a traditional account management or project management role. You need enough hands-on marketing experience to evaluate social media, email, content, SEO, websites, campaigns, and reporting; give useful feedback; and confidently connect the work back to the client’s broader business goals.
Because this person owns active client relationships, working hours should be distributed across Monday–Friday, with regular availability and responsiveness during Bellrae’s core business hours of 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing partner for assigned clients, building strong relationships and a deep understanding of their businesses, goals, customers, and priorities
- Lead monthly client marketing meetings and ongoing strategic conversations
- Stay close to what’s happening inside each client’s business and recognize what should influence their marketing
- Translate strategy and recommendations into clear priorities for the implementation team and ensure they make their way into execution
- Review social media, email, content, websites, campaigns, and other deliverables with strong marketing judgment
- Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback that improves the work without creating unnecessary bottlenecks
- Review marketing performance, identify what the data is telling us, and confidently communicate insights and recommendations to clients
- Proactively identify opportunities, challenges, and potential problems before they become client concerns
- Collaborate with social media managers, SEO specialists, writers, paid media partners, and other implementation specialists
- Partner with Bellrae's Senior Marketing Strategist on complex challenges, significant strategic decisions, and shifts in direction
- Manage client communication, approvals, feedback, and active priorities so nothing falls through the cracks
- Participate in on-site content capture when appropriate for assigned clients
You May Be a Great Fit If
- You have 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience
- You're ready to spend less of your time physically creating every deliverable and more of your time leading the marketing vision
- You've worked across multiple marketing channels rather than specializing exclusively in one area
- You have agency experience or experience managing multiple brands/accounts simultaneously
- You've personally created marketing deliverables earlier in your career and understand what strong execution looks like
- You love building relationships with clients
- You're confident communicating recommendations and explaining the "why" behind marketing decisions
- You're curious about your clients' businesses, not just their marketing tasks
- You can look at performance data and turn it into a useful observation or recommendation
- You're proactive and naturally notice what needs attention
- You take ownership and follow through without needing constant reminders
- You're comfortable making decisions while also knowing when something should be escalated to a senior strategist or specialist
- You're organized enough to manage multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously
- You genuinely care about client outcomes and want to understand whether the marketing is working
- You are proficient with Slack, Basecamp, ClickUp, Canva, Google Suite
This Role Probably Isn't for You If
- Your experience is primarily administrative account management or project management
- You prefer receiving tasks rather than identifying what needs to happen next
- You aren't comfortable reviewing or giving feedback on marketing work
- You need someone else to interpret performance data for you
- You want to specialize exclusively in one marketing channel
- You prefer execution without client interaction
- You struggle to manage competing priorities or close loops
- You believe your job ends once something has been assigned to someone else
What Success Looks Like
- Clients trust you as a knowledgeable marketing partner and extension of their team
- You understand each client's business well enough to anticipate needs rather than waiting for direction
- Strategy consistently translates into strong, aligned execution
- The implementation team receives clear direction, context, and useful feedback
- You can confidently explain performance, what Bellrae recommends, and what should happen next
- Clients feel informed and supported without having to manage Bellrae, and problems rarely surprise them
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
