Our client, a well-known business in Washington, DC, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager.
The Construction Manager ensures service productivity, upholds company standards, and maintains ongoing correspondence with customers. This role adds to the company's value through effective team leadership and proficient data management related to scheduling and completing service work in the HVACR field.
Duties:
Review timecards and maintain personnel scheduling.
Uphold company standards of procedure.
Lead a team of 12 or more personnel with a positive and effective management approach.
Understand company operations to ensure profitability and continued stability.
Maintain and grow customer relationships to increase company appeal and retention.
Display strong leadership qualities that empower and develop personnel.
Prepare cost estimates and proposals for jobsite repairs or installations.
Previous Work Experience:
- 5–10 years of field experience (not including apprenticeship).
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team project to successful completion.
- Working knowledge of various HVAC system components.
- Experience with high-rise buildings, hydronics, and ventilation systems.
- Medium to high tonnage refrigeration work experience.
Level of Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Union Tradesman Apprenticeship completion.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or more as required.
Licenses and Certifications:
Journeyman License.
Master HVAC License.
EPA Certification – Universal
Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
