The clinician will complete assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, documentation, and ongoing clinical support as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Responsibilities: * Provide clinical assessments and mental health services to assigned patients* Complete treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation* Provide crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments as needed* Support patients with serious mental illness, trauma, substance use history, and other behavioral health needs* Communicate with medical, mental health, and custody teams* Maintain professional boundaries and follow all facility policies and proceduresRequirements: * Active California LCSW or LMFT license* Minimum 12 months of recent clinical experience preferred* BLS certification preferred or required by facility* Ability to work in a correctional/secure healthcare environment* Must be able to complete required onboarding, background clearance, and facility compliance requirements* Strong documentation, communication, and crisis intervention skillsPreferred Experience: * Correctional healthcare* Community mental health* Crisis intervention* Substance use or co-occurring disorders* Serious mental illness or high-acuity behavioral health settingsCompensation: This position pays $74–$78/hour based on license type, experience, and local/travel status.Care Career partners with healthcare facilities to connect qualified clinicians with meaningful contract opportunities.
