Position: Rehab Director
Location: Rochester, New York
Job Description: As the Rehab Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of rehabilitation services within our skilled nursing facility. You will lead a team of dedicated therapists to deliver high-quality care to our residents, ensuring they achieve optimal outcomes and regain independence. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that align with resident needs and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure comprehensive rehabilitation services.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of rehabilitation services provided.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New York.
Proven experience in a leadership role within a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of practice for rehabilitation services.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
