Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment within a manufacturing environment.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated control systems, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms.
- Develop and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and electrical drawings to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, repair records, and equipment history using CMMS systems.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures, GMP standards, and regulatory requirements during maintenance activities.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior maintenance personnel and team members.
- Respond to emergency equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Travel to various company or customer sites within the United States as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical disciplines preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience with progressive responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel domestically as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in an electrical, mechanical, automation, or related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens automated control systems.
- Experience utilizing CMMS software and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Proficiency with welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a maintenance team environment
