As the Buyer, you are responsible for the omni-channel merchandising strategy across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce, including assortment selection, pricing and promotional strategies, product placement, and overall customer experience within your assigned categories.
Your goals and responsibilities will include:
· Managing product assortment, attributes, and specifications across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels, using sales and inventory data to identify opportunities that maximize sales and margin.
· Developing and communicating category-level business plans that support sales growth, margin objectives, and inventory health.
· Negotiating product costs, terms, freight, and returns with vendors throughout the year to support margin and service-level goals.
· Partnering with marketing, sales, manufacturing, warehouse, and store operations teams to support product launches, promotions, and inventory flow.
· Developing and maintaining strong relationships with strategic, specialty, and international vendors to ensure competitive pricing, reliable supply, and timely shipments.
· Identifying products and timing that support promotional and marketing strategies based on sales trends, seasonality, and market conditions.
· Managing product lifecycle decisions, including exit strategies and inventory aging standards, using ERP reporting and historical sales data.
· Participating in pricing decisions to achieve margin objectives, including recommending initial pricing and markdown strategies based on performance.
· Supporting the Purchasing Leader through training, coaching, and mentoring team members as needed to support a growing organization.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
· 3+ years of buying, purchasing, or category management experience preferred.
YOU’LL IMPRESS US WITH
· Strong Excel skills and comfort analyzing sales and inventory data
· Experience working in an ERP system (Acumatica preferred)
· Knowledge of Catholic culture, traditions, seasonality, and products
