POSITION SUMMARY
Under direct supervision, this position consists of preparing food for patients, hospital and medical staff, and maintaining the Food Services Department in a sanitary manner. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepares food for patients, cafeteria and medical staff.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work area.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Collaborates with hospital personnel and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Promotes a positive working environment and guest relations.
- Promotes safety by attending mandatory in services and complies with all safety measures initiated by the facility.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Experience:
- 2+ years of cooking experience required
- A High School education or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience as a cook or cook’s helper required; experience in an institutional food service facility is preferred.
