Position overview
The Utility Associate performs a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role ensures the efficient handling of materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and upholds safety and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Available shifts are Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm and 9:00 am–6:00 pm, with flexibility to work additional hours/days as the business requires.
Responsibilities
Loads raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck
Receives, inspects, and sorts new inventory with an RF scanner
Straps and secures goods to pallets; uses tools such as hammers and crowbars to remove strapping and open crates/boxes
Operates, monitors, and troubleshoots a stretch wrap machine
Assists with product repair
Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the work area supervisor
Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
Follows prescribed safety regulations and complies with all Company and OSHA Safety and Health rules
Proactively assists others in achieving the organization's objectives

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of related warehouse experience
At least one year of recent stand-up forklift experience
Knowledge of basic manufacturing, warehousing, or shipping operations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions
