ABOUT THE POSITION
Medical Cannabis Caregivers (MCC) is seeking a highly organized Program Coordinator to help administer its Medical Cannabis Practitioner Certificate Course and MCC Practitioner Pathways Program. The Course provides 15 hours of live, one-on-one online instruction through five training Modules. The Program Coordinator will support participants from registration through Course completion, certificate issuance, clinical training, and entry into the Practitioner Pathways Program.
The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare administration, adult education, professional training, or program coordination and is comfortable conducting demonstrations, managing confidential records, and resolving technical problems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate participant registration, scheduling, and completion of all five Course Modules.
- Lead MCC-approved demonstrations for each Module
- Ensure participants receive all required Module documents, forms, worksheets, and Practitioner Toolkit materials.
- Set up online sessions.
- Maintain participant records.
- Prepare and issue the MCC Medical Cannabis Practitioner Certificate
- Track referrals and opportunities involving patients, physicians, and California-licensed health care facilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least two years of experience in healthcare administration, adult education, professional training, medical-office administration, or program coordination.
- Excellent organization, communication, recordkeeping, and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple participants, schedules, documents, and deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education or certification in healthcare administration, health education, public health, medical assisting, adult education, instructional technology, or a related field.
- Experience with medical cannabis education, cannabinoid therapeutics, patient education, or another regulated healthcare or wellness field.
- Experience maintaining participant records, referral systems, certificate programs, or clinical-training schedules.
POSITION DETAILS
- Compensation: $30.00 per hour / Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
- Some scheduling flexibility may be required for participant sessions.
