Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake by gathering medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently and accurately.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to assist clinicians in assessing patient health.
- Assist with clinical procedures including medication administration, wound care, and basic life support (BLS) protocols.
- Support physicians and nurses during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Document medical information precisely using medical terminology and ICD coding standards to ensure compliance and accurate billing.
- Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments, coordinating follow-ups, and providing exceptional patient service in both English and Spanish.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures.
- Prior clinic experience settings is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to serve diverse patient populations.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
