We are currently in search of a Sales & Sourcing Associate who will help expand our bulk sales & sourcing network in California by developing relationships with licensed cannabis farmers and wholesale distributors throughout the state.
Candidates may be based in the following California counties/communities:
- Sacramento County
- Nevada County
- Calaveras County
- Amador County
- El Dorado County
- Placer County
- Yuba County
- Sutter County
- San Joaquin County
Key Responsibilities:
● Sales & Procurement: traveling to licensed cannabis farms and wholesale distributors to engage with them, seeking to purchase and sell product across the state.
● Relationship Management: be an effective liaison between sourcing partners, local wholesale customers, our commercial nursery team (if applicable), and our bulk sales team.
● Account Management: be able to effectively communicate and manage pricing expectations with customers and vendors, and to work with operations to solve problems.
● Market Monitoring: understanding local, regional and state market environments to successfully navigate dynamic pricing and product trends, and reporting these trends to the central team.
● Compliance: ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations; applies to sales, logistics, inventory and the transfer of product between licenses.
● Travel: this position requires travel and will necessitate driving both locally and across the state to access material required from contracted and non-contracted partners.
● Safety and Security: Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff, following security and safety protocols at all times.

Required skills / experience:
● Basic Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
● Clean driving record
● Prior sales or sourcing experience, preferably in the cannabis industry
● Basic knowledge of cannabis cultivation or genetics a major plus
● Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and vendors
● Flexibility to work evenings, possibly weekends and overnight if necessary
● Willingness to undergo a Livescan
● No recreational cannabis-use is tolerated during work hours
● Must be 21+ years of age

Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
