Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC service manager to lead our team of skilled technicians in providing top-notch heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems, with the ability to manage projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues while overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and field service teams.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations related to HVAC work.
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in HVAC service and repair.
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for field operations.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems in various facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment repairs.
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor or similar role in the field service industry.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, air conditioning systems, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Experience in appliance repair and equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to drive a van or vehicle as needed for field service operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting HVAC issues.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices is a plus.
- Certification or licensure in HVAC-related fields is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,068.41 - $68,000.00 per year
