Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment on commercial and industrial construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts
- Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and wire cutters to complete installations and repairs
- Operate power tools including drills, saws, and conduit benders safely and efficiently
- Test electrical systems using instruments like ohmmeters, ammeters, and voltmeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems to prevent accidents or hazards
- Collaborate with construction teams and frame carpenters to coordinate electrical work within overall project timelines
- Need operators for CAT 255 & CAT 305
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools necessary for electrical installations and repairs
- Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safe wiring practices
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations and protocols
- Familiarity with low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical systems
- Ability to operate testing instruments such as ohmmeters and ammeters accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing electrical issues
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred
