We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Carpentry & 3D Design Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who combines hands-on carpentry knowledge with strong 3D design and visualization skills.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in carpentry, woodworking, measurements, fabrication, and construction, along with proficiency in SketchUp and the ability to create accurate 3D models and realistic renders for custom projects.
The candidate will work on a variety of custom residential and commercial projects, helping transform field measurements, ideas, and concepts into clear 3D designs that can be used for client presentations and fabrication.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of carpentry and woodworking
- Ability to read and understand measurements, plans, and construction drawings
- Proficiency in SketchUp
- Experience creating 3D models and realistic renders
- Ability to design custom carpentry and architectural elements
- Understanding of fabrication and installation methods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to take a project from concept and measurements to a practical, buildable design
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Experience designing custom stairs, wood treads, handrails, cabinetry, millwork, wall features, or other custom architectural elements is a strong plus.
We are looking for someone who is not only comfortable working with 3D design software, but who also understands how things are actually built in the field.
Pay: $19.00 - $31.00 per hour
