What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical nutrition assessments and care planning for hospital patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Develop individualized nutrition interventions based on patient needs
- Educate patients and families on nutrition plans and dietary goals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Support quality patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics – Required
- Completion of an ACEND/CDR-accredited dietetic internship – Required
- Current Kansas Dietitian License – Required
- Registered Dietitian credential or registration eligibility through CDR – Preferred
Highly Preferred
- Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Especially preferred for candidates completing coursework after January 1, 2024
- Prior hospital or inpatient clinical dietitian experience
