Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will provide support for system-wide needs related to general recruitment, including and not limited to assignments in clinical and non-clinical support roles.
Under direction of the Director of Recruitment (TA Lead), the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for ensuring quality candidates are identified within specified recruiting goals by collaborating with hiring managers and Department Heads to understand, develop, and implement specific recruiting strategies and processes related to scope of work.
General tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Lead career fair planning and efforts / Attend internal and external events /Virtual events
- Conducts the recruitment sourcing process for Senior Level positions
- Tracks, organizes and enters Action Requests for New Position/Backfills/Promotions into VCB Gateway for approval; updates position information and assigns approved requests for processing to the appropriate HR Staff.
- Evaluates trends in recruitment and the job market to recommend recruitment strategies; as well as, assist with developing and implementing strategies for sourcing
- Assists with running weekly queries of open vacancies and applicant in applied status for Recruitment staff.
- Assists with training Recruitment staff on the Talent Acquisition Process.
- Helps Director to develop graphics for all types of hard to recruit roles in the System
- Shares qualified applicants with hiring managers and HR staff throughout the System and track movement via ATS
- May handle sourcing of qualified applicants in the absence of other recruiters, as directed
- Supports talent acquisition team by leveraging social media and recruitment job boards (Indeed, nurse recruiter and other tools; post to college boards)
- Works closely with various hiring managers/HR staff to obtain status of recruitment efforts.
- Tracks all campaigns (positions) to maintain pipeline of requisitions being actively sourced using ATS (PeopleSoft)
- Maintains requisition and applicant activity and status in web-based applicant tracking system per regulatory and company guidelines
- Partners with managers and/or HR Professionals, to evaluate, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategies and processes to attract qualified candidates to the organization
- Ensures candidate’s background meets requirements on job descriptions by screening applications and resumes prior to submitting to hiring managers and/or HR managers
- Works with advertising agencies to post hard to recruit vacancies on 3rd party websites, as needed
- Maintains confidential HR files
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology or related field, with emphasis on personnel administration, employee and management relations or related discipline from an accredited college or university; and,
2. Five* or three** years experience in personnel management, employee relations, management or public administration, with at least three* or one** year(s) of progressively responsible experience in personnel management, employee relations programs, administration and benefits in a large public or private organization; and,
3. Comprehensive knowledge of theory and principles and their application to personnel administration in employee relations, including aspects of training, employee development, labor relations, knowledge of research design trends and developments in personnel, employee relations and general management fields; or,
4. A satisfactory equivalent of education, training and experience.
Department Preferences
3 years of staffing/recruitment experience in a similar role within a large system, preferably in a health care system
Nurse recruitment experience preferred
SHRM-CP certification preferred
