SLRHS is seeking a paraprofessional to support students in the Developmental Learning Center (DLC).
The DLC is a substantially separate program that serves students with intellectual disabilities.
Primary roles and responsibilities will include:

providing academic support to students in the DLC class

modifying work for students in general education classes

monitoring students progress, proctoring MCAS exams

communicating with classroom teachers

assisting with transitions
Other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Coordinator and/or building Principal.
Hours are 7:30am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday.
Hourly rate is between $18.28 - $22.38 depending on experience.
As a full time employee, this is a benefits eligible position through Silver Lake including paid sick and personal days.
