Last Mile Home Delivery company seeks an experienced Operations professional with expertise in Final Mile and with a strong skill set in operations, dispatching, and customer service. This position will assist the Operations Manager in managing day to day operations at the location.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist in monitoring operations such as early am load outs, and routes.
- Assist in organizing and managing the work of staff and Independent Contractors to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
- Assist the Customer Service Team in investigations and resolutions to customer or shipper complaints.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager, staff members, and clients to achieve goals, and objectives.
- Assist in monitoring operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, etc.
- Work with the Operations Manager to promote safe work enviornment.
Skills + Qualifications:
- Demonstrated problem-solving, excellent verbal, written, communication skills and excellent listening skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects while effectively communicating in a professional manner with all levels.
- Must possess both a strong personality and a desire to help.
- Must have extensive experience of dispatch with a good demographic knowledge of the tri-state area
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and willing to learn our software.
- Monday - Saturday schedule.
- Bilingual English & Spanish A++

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
