Prolec GE designs, manufactures, and sells products and solutions for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric energy. With more than 50 years’ experience in the industry, Prolec GE is an important player in the Mexican market and a key participant in the rest of the Americas, with business units in Mexico, the United States, and Brazil.
Essential Responsibilities:
As a member of a World-Class Team, the Manufacturing Coil Winder will take insulation material, conductors, and using winding drawing will produce a finished conductor coil.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
Desired Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform basic math, read drawings, use some basic hand tools, work safely at all times, operate a small jib crane, do minimum lifting of materials used to perform job.
- Must be able to follow directions and work as a team member will driving continuous improvement.
- Previous experience producing parts, components or assemblies on a production basis
- The ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in shop math
- The ability to read, interpret and apply various measurement devices, deminal tapes, scales, micrometers and calipers
