Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that every drink meets our quality standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate Square POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines during service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings to enhance sales opportunities.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with customers.
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations in the food industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
