Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our team. As a Hotel Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of dust or debris
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services promptly and courteously
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety standards
Experience:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
Skills:
- Proficient in various housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
