Job Title: Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech)
Location: North Bergen, NJ 07047
Job Type: Contract | 14 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | 5 Days/Week
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a hospital imaging team and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform portable X-ray procedures across patient care areas
- Assist with fluoroscopy and C-arm procedures
- Utilize PACS systems for image review and documentation
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
- Support contrast media procedures when required
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records
- Provide compassionate patient care while maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain clean and organized imaging areas and equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Strong experience in diagnostic imaging and patient positioning
- Experience with fluoroscopy and C-arm procedures
- Experience with PACS systems
- Knowledge of radiation safety and anatomy
Required Certifications & Licenses:
- ARRT Certification
- New Jersey State Radiologic License
- NJDEP Certification
- AHA BLS Certification
