Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of office experience
Proficient typing, word processing, and file maintenance skills
Knowledge of school district organization, and operations
Ability to organize and self-motivate
Excellent public relations skills
Good communication skills
General knowledge of office equipment
Primary Purpose:
Maintain accurate files and records pertaining to the budget and an inventory valued at $1,000,000. Demonstrate good communication skills, public relations skills, and provide assistance to campuses and departments on a daily basis.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence, reports, agendas, memos, etc.
- Daily telephone communication.
- Greet and assist visitors and District personnel.
- Assist with the annual inventory audit.
- Responsible for coordinating inventory cycle counts with department personnel.
- Prepare, input, and send all pertinent data to the Business Office.
- Balance all processed inventory requisitions to monthly reports provided by the B usiness Office.
- Assist with the annual update of the Distribution Center Inventory Catalog.
- Disburse and maintain the petty cash fund.
- Prepare regular and specific reports as requested.
- Maintain appointment calendar.
- Process deposits for the activity fund.
- Receive process and distribute mail.
Equipment Used:
Personal computer, typewriter, printer, copier, calculator, and fax machine.
Working Conditions:
Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions.
