Our client in Waukesha is seeking 1st shift (4:30am or 5:30am start) and 2nd shift (2pm start) Machine Operators. These are Direct Hire opportunities.
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating assigned machines. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Job Duties
- Adhere to company practices and procedures; including GMPs.
- Set-up and operation of assigned machine(s) to ensure finished product meets all customer and regulatory requirements; this may include the use of hand tools when necessary.
- Assist in training other employees on machines.
- Clean and sanitize equipment during changeovers from one product to another; inspect equipment prior to line start-up and changeovers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- At least 1 year machine operator experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing specifications and quality standards
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, Allergens and Personal Protective Equipment
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
