Bilingual Maintenance Technician (Plumbing Focus)

Owner-operated property management company is seeking an experienced Bilingual Maintenance Technician with strong plumbing expertise to address maintenance needs for a large apartment community in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks throughout the property.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, drain clogs, fixture replacements, and water line repairs.
- Complete apartment unit turns and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
- Perform drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC maintenance as needed.
- Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance emergencies.
- Maintain property grounds, common areas, and amenities in a safe and attractive condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience.
- Strong plumbing knowledge and hands-on repair experience required.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance repairs.
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
