The Palmas Academy is seeking a qualified Educational Therapist to provide specialized academic support services to students during the academic year.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students' learning strengths, challenges, and educational needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support academic growth.
- Provide one-on-one and/or small-group educational therapy sessions.
- Support students with learning differences, executive functioning skills, organization, study strategies, and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents to ensure coordinated student support.
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate records and documentation.
- Participate in meetings related to student support and educational planning as needed.
- Provide recommendations and strategies to enhance student learning and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education, Special Education, Educational Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification or training in Educational Therapy preferred.
- Experience working with children and adolescents with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as a professional services provider.
Position Type: Professional Services Contract
