Pennmark Management Company is looking for a maintenance technician to join our team! This individual should have previous experience in maintenance and be skilled with various hand and power tools.
This role will serve a rotation of 3 properties in Ewing, Robinsville, and Sewell NJ
Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:
Perform tasks such as but not limited to the following…
- Basic repairs and maintenance including changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, and changing locks on doors, etc.
- Interior and exterior cleaning and trash disposal
- Maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, electrical repairs or installations, or machine servicing.
- Coordinate surveys and repairs with outside contractors
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Conduct leasing showings
- In the event of an emergency, he/she may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency.
Maintenance Worker Requirements:
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually as well as collectively.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and relationship with building tenants
- Ability to work on ladders
- Ability to work in bad weather
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety & risk management procedures.
- Report any accidents or injuries to management in a timely manner.
- Perform snow removal and other grounds keeping activities as needed.
- Strong time management and follow-up skills.
- Utilize basic cleaning and other chemicals.
- May be required to organize inventory equipment, parts, and supplies.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities at other local properties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
