Christian Roofing is seeking an experienced Residential/Commercial Roofing Estimator specializing in HOA, Property Management, and Commercial accounts throughout Southern California. We are looking for a proven roofing sales professional with strong estimating skills, leadership experience, and a track record of high production.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a roofing and/or solar estimator (residential, multi-family, and commercial projects preferred)
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, scopes of work, and construction methods
- Solar knowledge required, including NEM (Net Energy Metering), DIIS, utility interconnection processes, and permitting workflows
- Ability to perform site inspections and evaluate project conditions
- Experience preparing accurate takeoffs, estimates, and detailed proposals
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with HOAs, property managers, or commercial clients is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform site inspections for roofing and solar projects (residential, multi-family, commercial)
- Prepare detailed estimates for re-roofs, repairs, solar installations, and combined roofing/solar scopes
- Develop accurate material takeoffs and labor costing
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Coordinate solar documentation including NEM applications, DIIS requirements, and utility interconnection paperwork
- Work closely with operations to ensure estimates align with production capabilities and scheduling
- Support project handoff from estimating to operations for smooth execution
Compensation
- Salary/Base Pay + Commission structure available
- Pay based on performance
- Pay scale to be negotiated
