Prep Cooks & Dishwashers
Express Employment Professionals is working with several local event spaces seeking reliable Prep Cooks and Dishwashers to assist with upcoming events. These positions are a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up food service lines before events
- Work directly with chefs and kitchen staff
- Complete prep work prior to dining service
- Ensure all food items meet quality and presentation standards
- Properly wrap, label, date, store, and rotate perishable items
- Maintain inventory of line items needed for each shift
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment as needed
- Keep kitchen and dish areas clean, organized, and sanitary
- Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and prepared on time
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, food service, or dishwashing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift as needed
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist where needed
- Flexible availability for scheduled events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
