EA Family Services is a nonprofit foster family agency serving communities throughout Northern California. For more than 40 years, we have provided safe, caring homes for foster youth and support for young adults transitioning from foster care to independent living. We are currently seeking a Wraparound Family Specialist to support families in the Santa Rosa area, with their home office in Antioch.
Position Summary
The Wraparound Family Specialist works closely with families, youth, therapists, and community partners to provide strengths-based support and crisis intervention services. This role helps stabilize family dynamics, connect families with resources, and reinforce therapeutic interventions that promote long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement crisis and safety plans with families.
- Provide on-call and crisis support, including 24/7 response as needed.
- Support families in building stability and strengthening relationships.
- Connect families to community resources, natural supports, and service providers.
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to reinforce and practice therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain documentation and participate in team meetings as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Combination of professional experience and personal lived experience supporting children, youth, and families.
- Certification and/or training in family engagement, peer support, trauma-informed care, or related areas preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of $24.00 per hour
