Experienced Barista – Blue Dove Coffee
Blue Dove Coffee is looking for an experienced barista to join our team.
We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about coffee, works well under pressure, and takes pride in making consistently great drinks. This position is for experienced baristas only—we're looking for someone who can step behind the bar with confidence from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Opening and closing the coffee shop
- Dialing in espresso throughout the day
- Preparing high-quality espresso beverages to recipe
- Steaming milk with proper texture and temperature
- Pouring clean, consistent latte art
- Maintaining a clean, organized workflow
- Greeting customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Thriving in a fast-paced café environment
- Working as part of a team to create an exceptional customer experience
Requirements
- Previous specialty coffee/barista experience is required
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and dialing in
- Ability to steam milk correctly for all classic espresso drinks
- Comfortable pouring latte art
- Able to work independently and stay organized during busy shifts
- Reliable with an open availability, including some weekends
Schedule
- 10–12 hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling—you choose how many days you'd like to work each week
- Open availability is strongly preferred
Pay
- Average of $28/hour (including tips)
- Paid weekly
