Role Description
This is a full-time, in-person role for a Senior Closer/Paralegal responsible for managing residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to close, including title review, document preparation, and disbursement. The candidate will prepare and review settlement statements and closing disclosures, coordinate with lenders, agents, attorneys, and clients, clear title issues, and maintain accurate, compliant files throughout the transaction lifecycle. The candidate will also work closely with the team to ensure deadlines are met and every file moves toward a clean, on-time closing.
Responsibilities
- Open and process title files from contract to closing.
- Review contracts, liens, payoffs, and title commitments.
- Clear title issues, including municipal liens, code violations, and open permits.
- Coordinate with lenders, realtors, buyers, sellers, and attorneys.
- Order and review title searches, surveys, estoppels, and payoffs.
- Prepare and balance closing statements (CD/HUD/ALTA).
- Ensure timely and accurate closings while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain consistent communication with all parties throughout the transaction.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a real estate closer and/or paralegal.
- Proficiency in handling both residential and commercial closings is required.
- Proficiency in Qualia is required — candidates must be comfortable working in the platform from day one.
- Strong knowledge of the closing process, title, and settlement procedures.
- Experience preparing and reviewing settlement statements and closing disclosures.
- Exceptional organizational and file management skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, lenders, agents, and other team members.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
